About The Position

This position involves assisting and supervising children in the Kids Club while providing exemplary customer service to parents and other staff. Requirements

  • 18+ years old with High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Maintained First Aid, BPT, and CPR certifications to include infant, child, and adult.
  • A strong understanding of child needs and development with a minimum of one year experience.
  • Healthy and physically fit.
  • Literate in English and basic math.
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong understanding of Customer Service.
  • Leadership expertise appropriate to the position.
  • Effective organizational skills.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule as the position demands.
  • Responsible for securing reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to efficiently run Excel, Word, Outlook, and other software packages used by the Company.

Nice To Haves

  • The work performed in a department other than Kids Club takes place outside of regularly scheduled hours for the Kids Club Coordinator.
  • Approval to work in a department other than Kids Club has been received from the Regional Youth Director as well as the appropriate Department Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and supervise children in the Kids Club.
  • Provide exemplary customer service to parents and other staff.
  • Operate 100% of the time with the company's Purpose serving as the foundation for decisions and actions.

  • Complete weekly Zone Inspections.
  • Ensure facilities are Brand Clean, looking new or like new.
  • Submit work orders for items that need repair and communicate future needs.
  • Provide the Kids Club Team with real-time verbal and written performance feedback.
  • Coach using the tools and in support of Purpose and Values.
  • Perform 6-month and 12-month Duo Reviews with each Team member.
  • Inspire others to consciously use Purpose, Values, and Tools to impact lives 100% of the time.
  • Engage with all children and Team Members in the designated area with a positive, proactive, and respectful attitude.
  • Have an explicit understanding of all specific duties and responsibilities for the Kids Club Team and of all procedures within the department and coach others.
  • Be a Team resource for fun, high energy, and age-appropriate child activities.
  • Be accountable for the overall member experience at the Kids Club location and support the Team in handling member issues.
  • Be competent in regards to all Youth Programing and seek clarity when needed.
  • Support families in finding the right programing fit.
  • Be aware of club hiring needs and support with the hiring process.
  • Interview applicants and arrange a working interview, when appropriate.
  • Be responsible for the onboarding of all new hires on the team.
  • Provide training for all Kids Club staff regarding daily operations, expectations, developmentally appropriate engagement with youth, and promotions of all youth happenings/programs.
  • Execute and staff each month's Parent’s Night Out Event.
  • Work mixed shifts weekly to include an opening, evening, and weekend shift.
  • Organize the Team to ensure all areas are appropriately staffed and use Purpose, Values, and tools to contact and/or relieve Team members to maintain appropriate ratios.
  • Run/review daily Kids Club reports to closely monitor and track child check-in numbers and visit sales/usage.
  • Organize child waivers for the location and ensure that parent and child information including photos are updated.
  • Enter and flag allergy and/or medical condition information when applicable.
  • Establish and maintain desk and paperwork organization ensuring all supplies and forms are available and replenish as needed.
  • Ensure all Kids Club team time clock entries are correct, update any needed corrections, and follow up with Team members when necessary.
  • Perform Zone Management functions and ensure the Zone is Brand and “FUN” multiple times throughout the shift.
  • Hold the Childcare Team accountable for following all zone procedures.
  • Maintain proper uniform standards and coach the Team in doing the same.
  • Create and manage the Kids Club attendant schedule for the location and support with shifts where needed.
  • Be ultimately responsible for opening and closing the Kids Club when a Team member misses, is sick, or there is a lack of coverage.
  • Perform a weekly supplies count and make new purchases in line with the department budget.
  • Understand the clearly defined fiscal and numeric goals for the department and be aware of the fiscal impact to the company of each decision.
  • Attend all mandatory meetings and Team Building Calls with the Regional Director and disseminate appropriate learning and information to the team.
  • Work in conjunction with Regional Youth Director to move the Team A+.
  • Develop strong relationships with members and Team members.
  • Commit to creating an On-Brand, enjoyable and inviting atmosphere for children, members, and the Team.
