About The Position

Deerwood Country Club is seeking friendly and attentive Kids Club Attendants to help provide a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment for our members’ children. As a premier private club offering a Carolina-style links golf experience set within a beautiful woodland setting, Deerwood features a meticulously maintained par-70 golf course, tennis facilities, a resort-style swimming pool, and multiple dining venues that create exceptional experiences for both members and guests. Our Kids Club plays an important role in supporting families and enhancing the overall member experience. The ideal candidate has a love of FUN! Our new person likes to play and create lasting memories. This is a morning position, with evening flexibility. 8 am to 1 pm, full time or part time. Requirements

• Previous experience working with children preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, energetic, and reliable, with a passion for working with children.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical skills, monitors and develops subordinates, visually monitor the operation areas, write and read member communication.
• Must have the ability to perform moderate physical work and may be required to lift up to 40 lbs., up to 30 lbs. frequently and up to 20 lbs. constantly.
• Perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting.
• Ability to consistently lift, carry and load adaptive and other sports equipment that may weigh 30 or more pounds, and sustain aerobic activity for 20 consecutive minutes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with children in age-appropriate activities, crafts, games and educational programs.
• Greet families, build rapport with children, and create a positive experience that gives parents confidence in the care provided.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding activities, schedules, and any incidents or special needs.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the Kids Club, following all safety procedures and emergency protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment, including toys supplies, and activity spaces.
• Assist in planning and executing special events and themed activities for children.
• Support other club staff as needed during events or high-traffic periods as needed.
• Complete any required reports or logs related to attendance, incidents, or activities
• Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
