About The Position

Soccer Shots is an engaging children's soccer program for children ages 2-8 with a focus on character development. Our caring team positively impacts children's lives on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, curriculum and communication. After completing our paid training program, coaches earn $25/hour and have the opportunity to earn up to $30/hour through advancement with our team. This is not a seasonal position, please do not apply if you are not available year round. We have sessions Monday-Sunday. Coaches can coach only on weekends, with the potential to join weekday sessions if you are interested. Gain career experience while positively impacting children in your community. We provide comprehensive training to each coach that joins our team, regardless of previous experience. Enjoy the work you do while being a positive role model for children. Work when you're available! We work around your schedule to provide coaching opportunities. Please note: You must be available at least one weekend morning for each season.

Requirements

• Experience working with groups of children
• High-energy, with an outgoing and positive personality
• Hold a valid driver's license and access to a car during working hours
• Interested in flexible scheduling in a part-time position
• Must be available at least one weekend morning for each season
• Must have year-round availability
• Weekend availability (Saturday & Sunday AM (8-12PM) AND/OR Saturday PM (3-5PM))

• Soccer experience is not required

Responsibilities

• Teach the week's curriculum in each 30-45 minute session
• Lead engaging, developmentally appropriate activities while having FUN
• Connect with children on an individual level
• Update attendance online after completing the day's sessions
• View & print attendance for the day's sessions
• Look the part in your uniform & neat, professional appearance
• Arrive 15-30 minutes before your session begins
• Greet the families and children to Soccer Island
