About The Position

Together we can help build a stronger community through the healthcare we offer. The Transplant RN Coordinator reports to the Transplant Programs Manager of the Transplant Center. Develops and uses advanced clinical management, consultation, education and research to promote quality care for the specific transplant patient populations. This role provides growth in a clinical knowledge through research-based practice with peers. This position is responsible for the ongoing training of new staff and keeping up to date with the regulatory changes in UNOS and CMS. Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in nursing and three years experience as a registered nurse
  • Current South Carolina Registered Nurse licensure or compact state is required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) with the American Heart Association (AHA) is required
  • An ability to establish cooperative working relationships with diverse groups and individuals, medical staff and other health care disciplines.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with a wide range of groups and individuals.
  • Highly developed analytic skills, interpersonal skills and organization skills.
  • Must have emotional/mental ability to perform effectively and efficiently under pressure and during stressful or emergency situations.
  • Must maintain the highest standard of professional conduct and confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

  • Transplant nursing experience preferred.
  • Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CCTC) certification is preferred.
