About The Position

At Ellie Mental Health, we believe great therapy starts with well-supported therapists. Not productivity robots. We’re currently looking for a Child & Family Therapist who is passionate about supporting kids, teens, and families through life’s challenges with creativity, compassion, and authenticity. This is a full-time outpatient therapist role with approximately 25 client sessions per week, flexible scheduling, and competitive compensation. Evening and/or weekend availability is required to support client and family needs.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited college or university
  • Active licensure in your designated field, this includes temporary and/or junior license
  • Experience with diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort working with diverse populations
  • Ability to set stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
  • Timely documentation habits
  • Familiarity with EHR systems (Valant a plus; training provided)
  • Some evening or weekend availability is expected to meet client needs

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a weekly caseload of 25 client sessions
  • Provide consistent evening and/or weekend availability to accommodate school and family schedules
  • Providing thoughtful, creative, evidence-based therapy to a diverse client population
  • Evaluating mental health diagnoses, creating treatment plans and documentation that support quality care
  • Collaborating with a team that shows up, communicates, and has your back
  • Using your clinical judgment freely
  • Preparing and submitting individual documentation for each session
  • Participating in supervision, consultation, and trainings
  • Coordinating services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
