This role is responsible for preparing food, cleaning the dining area, and engaging with guests in a friendly manner during and after service. The position is scheduled for an average of 15-20 hours per week and requires availability to work weekends and major holidays. The Kickback Host will oversee the complimentary 5:30 p.m. Kickback “happy hour” for guests, ensuring exceptional and positive experiences. This includes food preparation, clean-up, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and lobby area, and ensuring food safety standards are met and supplies are stocked. The role also involves presenting and maintaining a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality to promote the Drury culture, and answering guest questions with knowledge of the hotel, area, and events. A +1 Service attitude is expected to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
