About The Position
George Gee Cadillac KIA is actively hiring a Kia Technician to join their Service Department. This role is crucial in diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles efficiently. The dealership has a strong reputation, evidenced by numerous industry and manufacturer awards, and a high volume of billable hours in its service department. The ideal candidate will have prior automotive technician experience and a strong work ethic.
Requirements
- 3+ years prior automotive technician experience
- ASE Certification is mandatory
- Valid Driver’s License
- Personal Tools
- Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen
Nice To Haves
- KIA experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Installing parts recommended for repair and ensuring the repair is completed to satisfaction
- Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and to manufacturer/customer specifications
