About The Position
Towbin Kia, part of the Towbin Auto Group, is looking for an experienced Kia EV Certified Technician to join our high-volume, state-of-the-art service department in Henderson, Nevada. If you have the Kia EV certifications and dealership experience needed to diagnose and repair today's advanced electric vehicles, this is an opportunity to put your skills to work in a modern facility with consistent workflow, strong leadership, and long-term career potential. As Kia's electric vehicle lineup continues to expand, we're looking for a technician who is confident working with EV systems, high-voltage components, battery systems, charging systems, and advanced electrical diagnostics.
Requirements
- Kia EV Certification is required
- Previous automotive dealership technician experience
- Strong electrical and diagnostic troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with EV systems and high-voltage components
- Knowledge of EV battery and charging systems
- Ability to diagnose complex electrical and drivability concerns
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume dealership environment
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Team-oriented mindset
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Nice To Haves
- Previous Kia dealership experience
- Kia Master Technician experience
- ASE Certifications
- Advanced EV or high-voltage certifications
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair Kia electric vehicles according to manufacturer specifications
- Perform advanced diagnostics on EV and high-voltage systems
- Diagnose battery, electrical, charging, and drivability concerns
- Utilize Kia factory diagnostic tools and OEM repair procedures
- Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs accurately and efficiently
- Perform multi-point inspections and identify recommended maintenance or repairs
- Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation
- Communicate repair findings and timelines with Service Advisors
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all Kia and dealership safety procedures
