About The Position
Oakes Auto Group is seeking an experienced Certified Master Technician to join our growing service team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled technician who excels at advanced diagnostics, takes pride in quality workmanship, and enjoys contributing to a high-performing shop environment. The Certified Master Technician serves as a technical resource within the service department while helping maintain manufacturer standards, shop productivity, and customer satisfaction. Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean or acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a standard background check
- Strong reliability and consistent attendance
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems
- Current manufacturer Master Technician Certification
Nice To Haves
- ASE Certifications preferred
- Advanced diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs using manufacturer-approved tools, equipment, and procedures
- Diagnose and repair complex electrical, engine, transmission, drivability, steering, suspension, brake, HVAC, and related vehicle systems
- Complete customer-pay, warranty, recall, and maintenance repairs while maintaining manufacturer and dealership quality standards
- Accurately document repair procedures, diagnostic findings, and recommendations while communicating effectively with Service Advisors and leadership
- Support technician development by assisting with advanced diagnostics, sharing technical knowledge, and contributing to an efficient shop environment
