About The Position

As part of A.K.A Brands, Princess Polly operates globally with offices in Los Angeles and Australia's Gold Coast. The company is expanding its team at the Fashion Valley Retail Store and is seeking motivated, fashion-obsessed individuals to contribute to its goal of becoming the best four-wall shopping destination. The Retail Store Keyleader is expected to embody drive, enthusiasm, and inspire others. This role involves overseeing store opening and closing, cultivating exceptional customer service, and supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in achieving sales goals and operational efficiency. The Keyleader will motivate the team through constructive feedback, development, and training, acting as a leader on duty when needed. Their passion for retail and leadership skills are crucial for creating an unforgettable in-store customer experience.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in retail industry
  • 1+ year experience in retail management
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire associates to achieve their goals
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick and effective decisions
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Great sense of style
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Capability to lift and carry boxes or bins weighing up to 20 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service whilst contributing to their career development
  • Perform operational duties inclusive of but not limited to: opening and closing registers, visual merchandising execution, inventory management, light housekeeping
  • Build brand loyalty and awareness through memorable in-store experiences in a fast paced retail environment
