About The Position

Value Buds is seeking a motivated and dependable Keyholder to join their team. As a Keyholder, you will be the face of the brand, providing exceptional service and assisting customers with product recommendations and cannabis education. This role is suitable for individuals who excel at leading by example, taking responsibility during shifts, and supporting both customers and colleagues in a dynamic environment. The position involves operating the POS system, handling payments, managing daily operations, merchandising, store upkeep, restocking, receiving deliveries, and conducting inventory checks, all while ensuring strict compliance with cannabis regulations, including ID verification.

Requirements

• Previous retail, customer service, or hospitality experience
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
• Cannabis selling certification (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell)
• Minimum age requirement based on province (18/19+)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Eligible to pass a Criminal Record Check

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience for every customer
• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education
• Support daily operations including merchandising and store upkeep
• Operate the POS, handle payments, and issue receipts
• Restock shelves, receive deliveries, and complete basic inventory checks
• Ensure compliance with cannabis regulations, including ID verification
