About The Position

This position is responsible for obtaining or receiving merchandise, totaling bills, accepting payment, and making change for customers in a retail store. The role involves stocking shelves, setting up displays, and assisting customers with their selections and inquiries. It also includes managing cash transactions, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain merchandise requested by customer or receive merchandise selected by customer.
• Must be able to answer customers' questions about location, price and use of merchandise.
• Must be able to interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Must be able to wrap and bag merchandise.
• Must be able to total merchandise price and tax to determine final bill amount.
• Must be able to accept payment and make change.
• Must be able to remove and record amount of cash in register at end of shift.
• Must be able to keep record of sales, prepare inventory and order merchandise.
• Must comply with sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements.
• Must maintain clean and safe work environment; performs job safely.

• Florida Level 2 background screening may be required for certain positions.

Responsibilities

• Stamps, marks or tags prices on merchandise.

• Wraps and bags merchandise.
