About The Position

Keyholder is a store leadership position at Footwise, a shoe store with five retail locations in the Pacific Northwest. Footwise is known for its blend of comfort and style, friendly service, and an extensive Birkenstock selection, along with other comfortable and stylish footwear brands. Footwise is part of ERHCo Inc, a family-run business operating retail shoe stores. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact, become an expert in footwear and foot health, share knowledge with customers and staff, provide excellent service, and lead by example.

Requirements

  • A year of work experience in retail
  • Experience in cash handling
  • Previous retail supervisory experience

Responsibilities

  • Opening and closing the store
  • Merchandising
  • Store cleanliness and basic maintenance
  • Maintaining a high level of person sales, setting the pace on the sales floor
  • Assisting with staff training and supervision when necessary
  • Inventory management
  • Processing and reporting sales transactions
  • Assist the manager with employee training and development
  • Respond to internal and external requests courteously and efficiently
