Röchling Automotive is looking for a Key Operator Production Cell to join their team in Duncan, SC. This role involves performing general manual labor tasks, operating assembly equipment, and following work instructions to produce quality products. The ideal candidate will be capable of lifting up to 35 pounds, maintaining production records, and adhering to all company safety and operating policies. Responsibilities include stacking and packing assemblies, monitoring machine operations, notifying supervisors of malfunctions or quality issues, and performing 5S activities within work cell machine areas. The role also involves training new operators, stopping and starting presses within guidelines, and supporting the technical team during equipment changeovers, preventative maintenance (PM), and basic problem-solving.

Requirements

Must be an employee in good standing and be proficient in all aspects of the SCR tank cell.
Minimum High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Perform general manual labor tasks including operating assembly equipment and performing tasks per the work instructions at the molding machines.
Lift up to 35 pounds.
Read and follow work instructions to produce a quality product.
Maintain appropriate production records.
Follow all company safety and operating policies.
Stack and/or pack various assemblies and molding product per product specification.
Observe continuous operation of machines and notify supervisor of machine malfunctions and/or quality issues.
Abide and perform 5S activities within work cell machine areas.
Train new operators as needed.
Possess ability to stop and start the press as needed within specific guidelines.
Work with technical team during equipment change overs to accomplish change in an efficient manner.
Support technical team during equipment PM.
Support technical team for basic equipment problem solving and error resolution.
Perform other duties as needed.
