Key Operator Production Cell DUN
About The Position
This role involves performing general manual labor tasks within the production cell, including operating assembly equipment and executing tasks according to work instructions at the molding machines. The position requires the ability to lift up to 35 pounds, read and follow work instructions to ensure product quality, and maintain appropriate production records. Adherence to all company safety and operating policies is mandatory. Responsibilities include stacking and packing various assemblies and molding product according to specifications, monitoring machine operations, and reporting any malfunctions or quality issues to the supervisor. The role also involves participating in 5S activities within the work cell, training new operators, and the ability to start and stop presses within specific guidelines. Collaboration with the technical team during equipment changeovers and preventative maintenance (PM), as well as assisting with basic equipment problem-solving and error resolution, are key aspects of this position. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be an employee in good standing.
- Proficient in all aspects of the SCR tank cell.
- Minimum High School diploma or GED.
- Must be capable of reading and following work instructions to produce a quality product.
- Must maintain appropriate production records.
- Required to follow all company safety and operating policies.
- Capable of stacking and/or packing various assemblies and molding product per product specification.
- Must observe continuous operation of machines and notify supervisor of machine malfunctions and/or quality issues.
- Abide and perform 5S activities within work cell machine areas.
- Must possess ability to stop and start the press as needed within specific guidelines.
