About The Position

The Key Holder is a seasonal, part-time retail role responsible for opening and closing the store, managing the cash register, assisting customers, supporting sales, and keeping the store organized. The role helps create an engaging shopping experience while maintaining store presentation and completing assigned operational procedures.

Requirements

One year of retail experience or related experience.
Enthusiasm for being an impactful and innovative leader.
Self-motivation, passion for work, optimism, and a solution-oriented mindset.
High integrity, accountability, reliability, and responsibility; openness to feedback.
Ability to stay connected with customer needs and create an exciting shopping experience.
Knowledge of retail operations, sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention.
Basic computer skills, including POS systems and Microsoft Office.
Ability to perform basic math functions.
Flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet every customer upon entry.
Execute the Five Steps to a Sale at every opportunity.
Offer current promotions and special offers.
Operate the Point of Sale system accurately.
Provide customer service using calendars.com, email marketing, and in-store special orders.
Maintain a store environment that meets visual merchandising standards and engages customers.
Receive and place new shipments.
Reset features and promotions as directed.
Complete regular housekeeping tasks.
Open and/or close the store as scheduled.
Prepare the cash bank at opening.
Prepare and make nightly cash deposits at closing.
Complete the opening or closing checklist for every shift.
