About The Position

Cotton On Kids is seeking a Part Time Key Holder to join their team at the Mall of Louisiana. This role involves opening and closing the store, leading the team as part of management, providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, assisting with inventory and merchandising, ensuring store cleanliness and safety, supporting loss prevention, and engaging professionally with teams and customers. The Key Holder will also train and mentor new associates and work collaboratively towards common goals, maintaining a professional presence and motivating others.

Requirements

• Experience in Retail, preferably fast fashion experience
• Demonstrated knowledge / ability of collaboration to drive results as a team.
• Demonstrated awareness and understanding of basic Retail principles such as sales, stock and service delivery in stores
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening, weekend and holiday shifts
• Solid communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older to apply
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1+ years of retail sales experience
• Minimum of 1+ year of acting retail leadership/management experience that allowed you the opportunity to lead aspects of the business and develop team members

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Lead the store team as part of management
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Assist in inventory control, restocking, and merchandising
• Ensure store cleanliness and safety standards are upheld
• Support loss prevention efforts and report any unusual activity
• Engages with store teams and customers professionally and respectfully
• Train and mentor new associates as needed
• Ability to interact collaboratively and work as a team towards a common goal
• Maintain a professional presence and motivate and inspire others
• Acting in a respectful manner to customers, managers and peers
