About The Position

Are you passionate about building strategic customer relationships and driving growth in the industrial OEM and IT cooling markets? As our new Key Account Manager, you will be managing and growing key accounts in the Industrial OEM space with a focus on IT cooling applications, building strong relationships with decision-makers, and securing long-term purchasing agreements that expand Grundfos' market presence. You will operate remotely out of your home office and can be based anywhere in the US.

Requirements

  • A Bachelors degree, preferably in engineering or a technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of account management experience.
  • Professional-level sales skills and the ability to present at all management levels.
  • Knowledge of pumps, pumping systems, and rotating equipment
  • Ability to travel 50%-75% of the time, including overnights and weekends, with a valid driver's license and passport.
  • Qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Industrial OEM sales experience in temperature control applications or equivalent.
  • Understanding of profit and loss accounting and revenue flow in an organization.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at existing and target OEM accounts, focusing on IT cooling applications.
  • Implement the Grow/Win process for focused customer groups, directly contributing to measurable market share growth.
  • Conduct due diligence to understand total sales opportunities (share of wallet) and maximize Grundfos product presence across key accounts.
  • Collaborate with Senior Key Account Managers to onboard new accounts and optimize customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, report on business and market intelligence, and prepare for bi-weekly opportunity reviews.
  • Participate in market-specific networking and interface with global key account managers and product management teams.
