This role functions as a Territory Sales Manager for Continental's Material Handling, Port, and OTR product lines. The Key Account Manager will act as the primary point of contact for dealers, target accounts, and strategic customers within their assigned territory. The position involves identifying opportunities through customer needs analysis and competitor product knowledge, acting as a business advisor to sell Continental's value proposition, and driving revenue and profitability for the Specialty Industrial Business Area. The role also includes establishing business within profitability targets, managing and implementing pricing strategies, identifying new product line opportunities, and assisting in product strategy development for target accounts. Market intelligence gathering, managing strategic initiatives, conducting sales calls with call plans, assisting in monthly forecasting, and achieving sales targets are also key responsibilities. The role requires participation in sales, product, and training meetings, as well as trade events.
