About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Key Account (Sales) Executive to join their team in Salt Lake City, UT. This role involves educating, instructing, and upselling assigned and newly generated accounts within a territory. The executive will act as a liaison between clients and Labcorp operations, provide ongoing service and problem resolution, and ensure customer retention through superior service. The position requires recommending client-focused solutions, managing day-to-day client operations, upselling the current book of business for organic growth, and working with senior sales representatives. The role also involves continuously providing educational material to clients and resolving customer-related issues in a timely manner, while consistently meeting and exceeding monthly retention and upsell goals. The sales team is the face of the company, introducing services to prospective clients and engaging at all business levels. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proven success managing a book of business
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, competitive market
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3 or more years of previous outside sales experience or account management
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
  • Superior customer service skills with the ability to build trust-based relationships
  • Ability to travel overnight as needed

Responsibilities

  • Educate, instruct and upsell all assigned and newly generated accounts in an assigned territory
  • Act as a liaison between the client and the Labcorp operations team in relation to client needs
  • Provide ongoing service and problem resolution to customer base
  • Ensure customer retention by providing superior customer service
  • Recommend solutions that are client focused and persuasive
  • Provide account management for client’s day-to-day operations
  • Upsell current book of business to increase organic growth
  • Work closely with senior sales representatives to grow book of business
  • Continuously provide educational material to the client base
  • Resolve any customer related issues in a timely manner
  • Meet and exceed monthly retention and upsell goals on a regular basis
