About The Position

The Kettle Worker rings bells for The Salvation Army Christmas Program at assigned locations, ensures the kettle is never left unattended, and greets the public in a courteous and friendly manner. The worker performs duties in accordance with The Salvation Army’s ministry and Christian principles, and is expected to conduct communications and job duties professionally.

Requirements

• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to stand in one location for extended periods in outside weather conditions, with breaks and lunch periods as required by state law.
• Ability to perform duties with an understanding of The Salvation Army’s mission, ministry, philosophy, culture, and protocol.
• Ability to conduct communications and job duties with the highest level of professionalism.
• No formal education or experience requirements.
• No licenses or certifications required.
