About The Position
The Salvation Army supports local families year-round through various programs, including providing gifts to children, food, shelter, and utility assistance. This role is crucial in supporting these efforts by coordinating the Red Kettle Campaign, which helps fund these vital services. The donations collected during the Christmas season enable the organization to provide both holiday gifts and essential year-long support to families in need.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with approval to drive from TSA’s insurance carrier required.
- Dealing with people in a customer service or sales role

Responsibilities
- Recruiting and signing up volunteer bell ringers & groups and establishing dates, times and locations
- Contacting via phone or email volunteer bell ringers to schedule ringing times
- Call local businesses to sign them up for kettle sponsorship
- Responsible for sorting kettle money with volunteers per applicable guidelines
- Responsible for transferring money to bank for processing per applicable guidelines
- Responsible for entering daily funds into tracking spreadsheet and online SA tracker (to be determined by local Service Rep)
- Promote bell ringing opportunities in the community
- Maintain Kettle Equipment – Keep clean and inspect for damage
- Thank you notes to volunteers and kettle locations
- Make copies of checks dropped in kettles and get them to Field Rep
