St. Clair Animal Care is looking for a full-time Kennel Worker to help care for our hospitalized and boarding patients while supporting our doctors and veterinary team.   • Comfortable working around dogs and cats of all sizes
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform the physical duties of the position

Nice To Haves

  • Previous animal care or customer service experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Walk and exercise hospitalized and boarding dogs
  • Feed and monitor dogs and cats staying in our hospital and kennel
  • Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, runs, and animal housing areas
  • Bathe dogs and cats as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the kennel and hospital
  • Observe patients for changes in behavior, appetite, or overall condition and report concerns to the medical team
  • Assist with general hospital support duties as needed
  • Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for patients and clients
