St. Clair Animal Care is looking for a full-time Kennel Worker to help care for our hospitalized and boarding patients while supporting our doctors and veterinary team. Requirements

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
- Comfortable working around dogs and cats of all sizes
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform the physical duties of the position

- Previous animal care or customer service experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Walk and exercise hospitalized and boarding dogs
- Feed and monitor dogs and cats staying in our hospital and kennel
- Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, runs, and animal housing areas
- Bathe dogs and cats as needed
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kennel and hospital
- Observe patients for changes in behavior, appetite, or overall condition and report concerns to the medical team
- Assist with general hospital support duties as needed
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for patients and clients
