About The Position

Glen Burnie Animal Hospital is hiring a Kennel Technician. This full-time role is crucial in keeping hospitalized and boarding patients comfortable, clean, safe, and well cared for, while also helping the entire hospital run smoothly. The ideal candidate loves animals, takes pride in their work, and believes in teamwork and mutual respect. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday shifts, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the medical team to coordinate patient care and timing
Feed, walk, and provide daily care for hospitalized and boarding patients
Monitor patients for changes in behavior, appetite, comfort, or condition
Provide clean bedding, enrichment, calming routines, and other patient comfort measures
Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, runs, and patient-care areas
Complete laundry and help maintain hospital sanitation standards
Support cleanliness and organization throughout kennel and treatment areas
Jump in where needed to help keep the day running smoothly
