About The Position

Animal Care West is a fast-paced, compassionate veterinary clinic dedicated to providing high-quality care to our patients and exceptional service to our clients. As a Kennel Technician, you’ll play a vital role in the daily care and comfort of our boarding and hospitalized pets while working alongside a supportive, team-oriented staff.

Requirements

Previous animal care experience preferred (kennel, shelter, vet clinic, or pet care)
Comfort working with animals of all sizes and temperaments
Ability to lift 40+ lbs and stay active throughout the day
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Positive, team-oriented attitude
Availability for weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

Provide daily care for boarding and hospitalized pets (feeding, walking, cleaning)
Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and clinic areas
Monitor animal behavior and health, reporting concerns to medical staff
Assist with check-in and check-out of boarding patients
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment
Support general clinic upkeep, including laundry and dishes
