About The Position

Leander Veterinary Clinic is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and animal-loving Kennel Technician to join our team! We're a locally owned, independent veterinary practice with five doctors, a beautiful 8,000-square-foot facility, and a great team dedicated to caring for pets like family. Our practice philosophy is to foster the bond between people and their pets by focusing on individual needs and offering the best care possible. We believe clients and their pets are part of the LVC family.

Requirements

• A genuine love for animals and their well-being
• Dependability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a busy, physically active environment
• A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
• Availability on weekend split shifts and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Previous animal care experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person!

Responsibilities

• Feed, walk, and care for boarding and hospitalized pets
• Keep kennels, runs, and hospital areas clean and comfortable
• Bathe pets and assist with basic grooming
• Monitor pets and communicate any concerns to the veterinary team
• Help our technicians and veterinarians as needed
