About The Position
Barkaritaville Pet Resort in San Antonio is hiring Full-Time and Part-Time Kennel Attendants to help us deliver top-notch care to the pets entrusted to us. This job keeps you moving-expect to be lifting, bending, and on your feet most of your shift. You must be comfortable working both indoors and outside, in various weather conditions including the heat and rain.
Requirements
- A genuine love for animals and desire to care for them
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow safety protocols and cleanliness standards
- Comfortable working outside in all types of weather
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Professional appearance and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable attendance and solid work history
Nice To Haves
- Experience in animal care, hospitality, or customer service is a plus
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and interacting with dogs in group and individual settings
- Cleaning suites, play areas, and common spaces
- Providing basic grooming tasks such as bathing
- Ensuring pets are eating, drinking, and acting normally
- Updating notes and pet care logs in our software
- Assisting with client communication and facility tours when needed
