Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients, team members, and the public
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Comfort using computers and standard office equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • A compassionate, positive attitude and commitment to making a difference for pets, their families, and your team

Responsibilities

  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized patient and hospital areas, including cages, kennels, litter boxes, exam rooms, and public spaces
  • Clean and disinfect areas between patients and following infectious cases, while restocking supplies as needed
  • Support general patient care, including feeding, walking, bathing, and aftercare, as directed by hospital staff
  • Stock and organize inventory and hospital supplies
  • Label and manage patient belongings to ensure personal items are returned to their owners
  • Complete end-of-shift duties, including mopping, laundry, trash removal, and general workspace upkeep
  • Assist with additional hospital duties as needed
