This role is for a Part-Time Kennel Technician / Reception Assistant who is dependable, compassionate, and hardworking, comfortable working with both animals and people in a fast-paced veterinary environment.

Requirements

• Ability to work on weekends as required
• Previous veterinary experience preferred
• Ability to lift patients up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients over 25 pounds with assistance
• Practices OSHA safety techniques including proper PPE

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for boarding and hospitalized pets, including feeding, walking, cleaning, and monitoring their well-being.
• Maintain clean and sanitary kennels, treatment areas, and hospital facilities.
• Assist the veterinary team as needed.
• Answer incoming phone calls professionally and schedule appointments.
• Greet clients and assist with check-in and check-out.
• Provide excellent customer service both in person and over the phone.
• Help maintain an organized and welcoming reception area.
