Kennel Assistant
About The Position
Dripping Springs Pet Hospital in Okmulgee, OK is looking for a part-time kennel technician to begin as soon as possible! This position will primarily function as a kennel attendant with a minimum of 15-25 hours per week, morning availability is required . Primary kennel duties include general janitorial at the beginning and end of the clinic workday, daily care for boarding patients, as well as assisting both doctors and technicians with gentle restraint for treatments and procedures. This is the perfect entry level position for a motivated, self-starter interested in the veterinary field. Ideal candidates will be hard-working, adaptable and comfortable with change in a rapidly growing practice. Dependability, honesty and the ability to give attention to detail are absolutely essential. Experience in a veterinary hospital is preferred, but we may consider other highly motivated candidates. Half-day Saturday hours are required.
