About The Position

North Carrollton Veterinary Hospital is hiring a Kennel Assistant. This role is part-time and involves providing daily care for boarding pets, including feeding, walking, medicating, and charting. Responsibilities also include bathing and brushing pets, cleaning kennels, performing laundry, maintaining hospital cleanliness, following protocols to prevent and control infectious and zoonotic diseases, and safely and compassionately restraining pets for procedures. Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Animal handling experience preferred
Compassion for animals and their well-being
Reliability and strong work ethic
Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
