About The Position

This is a student volunteer experience position. Volunteer experience participants receive monthly stipend payments. This position focuses on promoting KDUP across campus. It involves developing the station’s brand, managing social media, creating engaging promotional materials, and collaborating with other departments to reach a wider audience. This role is crucial for increasing KDUP’s visibility and attracting new listeners and DJs.

Requirements

• Minimum 2.50 cumulative GPA to apply
• Attending weekly staff meetings
• Attending at least 3 volunteer meetings per semester
• Hold 2 office hours each week
• All staff are expected to attend and help with set up and tear down for all KDUP events

Nice To Haves

• High attention to detail and working within an assigned budget
• Effective, timely, and professional communication to students, faculty/staff, and external vendors
• Prior experience with music/radio stations, or an interest in learning
