About The Position
This is a student volunteer experience position. Volunteer experience participants receive monthly stipend payments. This position requires collaboration with the KDUP team to curate and manage the station’s music library, ensuring it aligns with university standards and audience preferences. Responsibilities include acquiring new music, selecting music for rotation, and managing the station’s music archives.
Requirements
- Minimum 2.50 cumulative GPA to apply
- Attending weekly staff meetings
- Attending at least 3 volunteer meetings per semester
- Hold 2 office hours each week
- All staff are expected to attend and help with set up and tear down for all KDUP events
Nice To Haves
- High attention to detail and working within an assigned budget
- Effective, timely, and professional communication to students, faculty/staff, and external vendors
- Prior experience with music and/or active radio stations, or an interest in learning
