About The Position

As a busy interpreting service provider, we are seeking to onboard hard-working, fully-bilingual foreign language interpreters to provide in-person interpretation for our local Nebraska clients. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to use their cultural knowledge to help non English speakers in their area. We have an immediate need for Karenni interpreters in the Omaha area.

Requirements

• Fully bilingual
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality/HIPAA compliance
• Must have transportation to attend appointments locally
• Technical skills for learning/using online portal (printing and uploading vouchers required)
• Must have access to a printer
• Background checks and drug screens required
• Provide proof of vaccination or exemption documentation prior to interview.

Nice To Haves

• Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred
