About The Position

Johnson Controls is seeking a Kanban Engineering professional to lead the implementation and management of Kanban systems. This role involves optimizing workflow and material movement, facilitating Kaizen events to eliminate waste, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance production processes in alignment with Lean principles. The position requires training and mentoring team members on Kanban methodology and Lean practices, as well as analyzing data to drive continuous improvements and report progress to management.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.
Strong understanding of Lean principles, particularly Kanban.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a leadership role within a Lean transformation initiative.
Certification in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
Knowledge of ERP systems and their integration with manufacturing processes.
