About The Position

This role involves supervising, assigning, coordinating, and evaluating semi-skilled and skilled trades personnel based on their skill, experience, and job knowledge. The Foreman is responsible for supervising and training employees to enhance the quality and quantity of their work, recommending further training to improve skills and productivity, and assisting in the development of training procedures. Key duties include breaking down broad strategies into practical action plans and ensuring employees are trained to execute them. The position requires compliance with all technical aspects of the job, including adherence to drawings and procedures. It also involves responsibility for manufacturing, installation, operation, testing, and process operations that significantly impact the company's financial performance. The Foreman supervises qualified trades staff and monitors job and budget performance across all shifts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Apprentice Certification
  • High School and 4 years combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military experience
  • Associate Degree in a Trade/Technical and 3 years of relevant manufacturing, shipbuilding, trade and/or military experience
