About The Position

The K Pac Operator operates K-Pak machines and may direct the workforce. The operator ensures product is packaged correctly without product or moisture leaking, verifies product weight and temperature, and makes sure the required maintenance is completed so production can continue. The role includes assembling the K-Pak machine at the start of the shift, preparing pre-operational paperwork, and completing HACCP forms before start-up. The operator also prepares downtime reports, monitors production and packaging quality, and confirms that enough boxes are produced for each outgoing load. Daily tasks are fairly structured. Performance is evaluated by the Ground Beef Supervisor based on product and packaging integrity. The operator attends monthly group meetings and provides input, and performs other duties reasonably associated with the listed responsibilities as assigned.
