About The Position
Brooke Charter Schools is seeking a K-8 Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year. This role involves providing small group or 1:1 behavioral and academic support to students with special needs under the supervision of a special education teacher. The paraprofessional will collaborate with colleagues, including classroom teachers, specialists, and administrators, to meet student needs. Responsibilities include working with staff to develop and implement behavioral intervention plans, ensuring student learning and classroom behavior goals are met, and assisting the lead teacher in observing, recording, and charting behavior. The hours for this role are 7:15 am - 4:20 pm daily.
Requirements

- Earned at least a high school degree or equivalent.
- Experience working with students with special needs.
- Understanding the importance of building a joyful classroom culture where students are held to high behavioral and academic expectations.
- Professional, warm, and collaborative with students, families, and colleagues.
- Able to start July 22, 2026.
