Perry Local Schools is seeking a dedicated, student-centered Elementary School Counselor to join our team. We are a small school with a big heart. Requirements
- Valid Ohio School Counselor License
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Commitment to supporting all students with high expectations and care
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and small group counseling to support student needs
- Deliver classroom guidance lessons aligned to social-emotional learning standards
- Support students with behavior, attendance, and personal challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support the whole child
- Coordinate with outside agencies when needed
- Serve as a member of building support teams and crisis response efforts
