About The Position

The K-5 Special Education-ASP(A) Teacher at Floyd Elementary School will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing an appropriate instructional program. The goal is to prepare students for lives as informed and engaged citizens in a global society. This is a full-time position for the 2026-2027 school year, working 183 days for 7.0 hours per day, funded by the Special Education Fund. The salary range is $51,323-$103,407.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Valid Nevada Teaching License
• Valid Nevada Driver's License
• CPR/First Aid/AED Certification is required for physical education, special education, and career & technical education teaching assignments
• Successful candidate must complete a thorough background check
• Successful candidate must pass mandatory pre-employment drug & alcohol testing.
