About The Position
This position involves collaborative work to develop and enhance the K-12 Unified Arts curriculum for Summer 2026. The role focuses on vertical alignment, grade-level course outlines, and the selection/creation of instructional materials for both students and teachers. The program runs from July 6, 2026, to August 14, 2026, with flexible weekday hours, not exceeding 25 hours per participant. Meetings may be conducted in-person or via Zoom.
Requirements
- Current FPS K-12 unified arts teachers
- Commitment to being present for the full duration of the program (July 6, 2026 - August 14, 2026)
Nice To Haves
- At least one (1) teacher in each content area preferred
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively to complete vertical alignment documents
- Work collaboratively to complete uniform grade level course outlines
- Work collaboratively to identify, create, and select instructional activities, reading materials, and other instructional materials that will be used by students
- Work collaboratively to identify, create, and select instructional resources for teachers
Benefits
- Stipend/Hourly Rate: $30.00 hour NTE $750.00
