About The Position

Littera is a fast-growing, fully remote team on a mission to ensure all students have access to high-quality, and cost-effective tutoring services. We partner with school districts of all sizes to build innovative, custom-fit tutoring solutions that seamlessly integrate with their existing technology, instructional programs and goals, ensuring every student has access to flexible and targeted support. As a K-12 Tutoring Solutions Director, your deep understanding of district administration will be instrumental in bridging our innovative solutions with the needs of the school districts we serve. Your role involves building and nurturing relationships with school districts, leveraging your administrative expertise to understand their unique needs and designing tutoring programs that help them achieve their goals. As our Solutions Director for California, you will be the driving force behind our growth in a critical territory. You'll leverage your extensive background in district administration to connect with fellow education leaders and build lasting relationships. This isn't just a sales role—it's about becoming a trusted partner to district leaders and working with them to design tutoring programs that meet their specific academic goals.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of administrative experience within a K-12 school district.
  • Experience working with or have been part of leadership/executive staff in a district or charter setting.
  • 3+ years of experience in a client-facing or outbound sales role within the education industry.
  • Relationship-Driven: You excel at building authentic connections and can leverage your existing network of district leaders to quickly establish a pipeline of prospects.
  • Strategic & Resourceful: You are a creative problem-solver with a knack for developing and executing strategic plans for both large and small accounts.
  • Comfortable in a Remote Environment: You are a resourceful, self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, fully remote, and collaborative team culture.
  • Data-driven Orientation: Utilize platforms that support various sales, communication and implementation functions, applying the analytics to drive prioritization and tutoring success.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with educational services like tutoring or professional development is a strong plus.
  • Experience working with key decision-makers such as district/state Superintendents, Chief Academic Officers, and Directors of Curriculum and Instruction.
  • Prior experience with an early stage business.

Responsibilities

  • Forge Strategic Partnerships: Use your deep knowledge of district operations and administrative experience to identify and build relationships with key decision-makers, including Superintendents, Chief Academic Officers, and Directors of Curriculum.
  • Design Tailored Solutions: Collaborate directly with school districts to understand their unique needs and challenges, then design custom tutoring programs that help them achieve their student success goals.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain a key communication role and the collaboration necessary to ensure that districts are implementing desired programs as designed.
  • Strategic Account Management: Create long-term growth plans for current clients ensuring growing revenue through upselling our products and services as a result of nurturing relationships.
  • Customer Retention and Loyalty: Ensure customers are happy and continue to renew their contracts, which provides a more predictable and sustainable revenue stream for the company.
  • Drive Regional Growth: Coordinate and deliver post-sale customer meetings, such as capacity building, pre-launch, launch, and data reporting training and monitoring meetings as appropriate. to ensure a smooth implementation, build valuable relationships and ensure renewals and expansions
  • Prioritize In-Person Engagement: Cultivate strong, trusting relationships through a mix of virtual and in-person meetings. A willingness to travel across California is essential for building rapport, ensuring successful program implementation and building a potential pipeline.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with our Implementation, Tutor Services, and Product teams to ensure a seamless transition for new partners, from initial sale through implementation and beyond.
