About The Position

The Clark County School District (CCSD) is seeking a K-12 Library Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This role is crucial in fostering a love of reading and providing students with the skills to access and evaluate information effectively. The Library Teacher will manage the school library, curate resources, and collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate information literacy into the curriculum. This position is based at Fremont Middle School.

Requirements

Valid Nevada State School Library/Media Specialist License or equivalent.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience working with K-12 students.
Knowledge of library management systems and digital resources.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
Completion of a seven-year work history, including periods of unemployment, in the application's 'Experience and Credential' section.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in Library Science or a related field.
Experience with curriculum development and integration.
Proficiency in educational technology tools.

Responsibilities
