The Assessment Lead owns for the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of both virtual and in-person standardized assessment programs across an assigned portfolio(Texas & Oklahoma) of OpenEd programs. Serving as the primary subject matter expert for designated assessments, this role develops deep expertise in assessment requirements, administration protocols, testing platforms, and state-specific implementation expectations. The Assessment Lead manages all operational aspects of assessment delivery, including test planning, scheduling, student rostering, proctor readiness, testing logistics, platform access, data management, score reporting, and compliance monitoring. Working closely with internal teams,, schools, and proctors, the Assessment Lead ensures testing events are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable requirements. This role serves as the operational lead during active testing windows, facilitating successful testing experiences, resolving real-time issues, and ensuring timely and accurate assessment data and results. The Assessment Lead also partners with Student Success, Family Success, and other stakeholders to provide assessment guidance, resources, reporting, and support throughout the assessment lifecycle. Occasional travel to testing locations (e.g., schools, libraries, hotels), may be required during peak testing periods, with potential for overnight stays. Previous school-based experience implementing standardized testing and valid teaching credentials highly preferred.
