We are seeking a JWICS & SAP Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. What You'll Be Doing Specialize in the administration and operations of a JWICS environment and performs cybersecurity compliance, operational sustainment, and other general IT tasks as needed to ensure continuous performance. Build, maintain, and configure Windows workstations and thin clients. Perform administrative operations and maintenance functions of hardware and software. Download and install critical patches on systems in accordance with MDA rules and guidelines. Troubleshoot system errors or user issues. Track resource utilization and performance of systems. Perform modifications and upgrades as needed. Coordinate efforts with other work centers and personnel to resolve Remedy Incidents related to systems and supporting infrastructure. Provide SAP support as needed. Assist in other Systems Engineering/Administration duties to which may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Must have 8, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience
  • May be reduced with completion of advanced education
  • Must have 4 years of directly related experience
  • Must have a current DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+ CE Certification)
  • Must have an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI Security Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Have Systems Administration/Engineering experience managing Windows desktops, servers and office products
  • Have experience with HP workstation and thin clients
  • Have experience with Windows 10
  • Have experience with Networking and Cybersecurity
  • Have experience with Remedy Incident and Change Management
