About The Position

Cimarron is seeking a JWICS and SAP Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Space Force Base in the Colorado Springs, CO area. This role involves administering and operating a JWICS environment, performing cybersecurity compliance, operational sustainment, and general IT tasks to ensure continuous performance. The engineer will also build, configure, and maintain Windows workstations and thin clients, perform hardware and software operations and maintenance including patch installation, and troubleshoot system errors and user issues. Additionally, the position requires monitoring resource utilization, executing system modifications and upgrades, coordinating with work centers to resolve Remedy Incidents, providing Special Access Program (SAP) support, and supporting additional Systems Engineering and Administration tasks.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizens only
  • Active Top Secret Clearance (or higher)
  • Ability to obtain a SCI clearance in a reasonable timeframe
  • Must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire
  • Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening
  • 8 or more years of general, full-time work experience (may be reduced with advanced education)
  • 4 or more years of directly related experience
  • Current DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ with CE)

Responsibilities
