About The Position

Child & Adolescent Behavioral Health is seeking to hire a full-time Juvenile Justice Therapist to meet the growing demands for mental and behavioral health care for children and adolescents in the community. The role involves providing emotional and behavioral health support to children, youth, and families, working collaboratively with a network of mental health professionals. Requirements

• Experience, training, or willingness to obtain skills working with youth involved with juvenile justice.
• Experience, training, or knowledge of the effects of trauma and interventions to treat trauma and restore resiliency.
• Experience working with courts and juvenile justice populations is valuable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to function well as a team member.
• Culturally competent and willing to work with clients and families within various and diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Work with youth who have engaged in inappropriate behavior.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy.
• Build appropriate social skills with clients.
• Conduct psychoeducation with clients and families.
• Address trauma or other mental health needs.
• Remediate offending behaviors.
• Participate in ongoing trainings as determined by the Program Manager.
• Submit timely and accurate progress notes and documentation.
• Meet assigned productivity expectations.
• Attend required meetings.
• Attend weekly supervision.
