Juvenile Intake Probation Officer

About The Position
Responsible for conducting intake interviews for youth referred to Probation Services, completing the Disposition Investigation Report (social history), and the risk and needs instrument tool (OYAS), with recommendations regarding dispositional sanctions and overrides for cases when appropriate. Responsible for all supervision of assigned youth pending assignment to District Unit Probation Officer.
Requirements
- Experience conducting intake interviews
- Experience completing disposition investigation reports (social history)
- Experience with risk and needs assessment tools (OYAS)
- Ability to make recommendations regarding dispositional sanctions and overrides
- Ability to supervise youth
