About The Position

Provides data systems reporting, data validation, and systems development for the Office of Jury Commissioner (OJC) by accessing and querying relational databases and reporting findings. Assists users in the use of systems applications and makes proposals to improve operations. Collaborates with various members of the OJC, the Trial Court, and to resolve operational issues. This position serves as a Lead Worker and works under the direction of a Department Head or his/her designee.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Three (3) years of data management work experience.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered for meeting minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Develops queries to extract and present data relative to jury management requirements.
  • Validates data reporting by others to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in creation and validation of annual Master Juror List.
  • Collects, analyzes, and shares data, reports, and metrics.
  • Provides advice on process improvement, new technology, and initiatives.
  • Collaborates on project management teams and implementation for OJC.
  • Develops proposals and makes recommendations to improve operational efficiency, particularly with respect to data analysis and reporting.
  • Participates in system testing and implementation of new releases.
  • Works independently, with minimal supervision or direction.
  • Performs administrative tasks receiving work orders and writing work reports.
  • Supports preparation, testing, training, and implementation of jury systems and related processes.
  • Meets and participates on long-term system planning.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
