About The Position

VETS Junk Removal + Dumpsters is seeking a reliable and hardworking Junk Removal Crew Member / Driver to join our team. This position plays a dual role as both a driver and hands-on crew member, responsible for safely operating company trucks and dump trailers while also assisting with junk removal, debris hauling, and site cleanups. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, physically capable, and dependable, with a strong work ethic and a team-first mindset.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license
Physically able to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment

Nice To Haves

Driving experience with trucks and trailers preferred
Clean driving record preferred
Ability to safely tow and maneuver a dump trailer (or willingness to learn)
Experience in junk removal, moving, construction, landscaping, or demolition
Prior experience driving trucks with trailers
Military or veteran background (a plus, but not required)

Responsibilities

Safely operate company trucks and dump trailers to and from job sites
Load, transport, and unload junk, trash, and debris
Perform basic vehicle and trailer inspections before and after shifts
Follow all DOT, traffic, and company safety regulations
Maintain a clean driving record and report any incidents immediately
Remove junk, trash, furniture, appliances, construction debris, and other materials from residential and commercial sites
Lift, carry, and load heavy items (often 50–100+ lbs)
Work efficiently as part of a crew to complete jobs on time
Maintain job site cleanliness and professionalism
Interact respectfully with customers when needed
